Australia to take part in China-EU Trade Spat

Australia will seek to take part in an inquiry into the trade spat between the EU and China.

The EU has accused Beijing of targeting Lithuania for allowing Taiwan to open a diplomatic outpost in its capital, Vilnius.

Trade Minister Dan Tehan claims Australia opposes the use of economic coercion and restrictive trade practices, which undermine the rules of the international trading system.
