Australian Indigenous elder Theresa Ardler has developed an extraordinary friendship with Pope Leo XIV, playing online word games including Wordle and Words with Friends multiple times per week. Ardler, who was a family friend of the late Pope Francis and likely the last person to have a papal audience with him, met the current Pope when he was Cardinal Robert Prevost at Francis’s funeral.
