Former heavyweight boxing champion ‘Aussie Joe’ Bugner has died at the age of 75. Born in Hungary, Bugner moved to Australia in the 1980s, and called the Gold Coast home for more than half his life. Aussie Joe took on boxing greats like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, and was known for his impressive endurance in the ring. Biographer Grantlee Kieza says he was a dangerous and skilful fighter – and an absolute gentleman.
