Nuclear for Australia Founder William Shackel suggests the Labor Party should “take a leaf” out of the Coalition’s playbook and go overseas to see how nuclear energy improves energy efficiency.
“The facts about nuclear are very, very clear …. it is encouraging that the Coalition is still committed to nuclear power,” Mr Shackel told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“I honestly wish, though, that Labor politicians did the same thing and went overseas, looked at nuclear power plants with their own eyes.
“I really wish that they took a leaf out of the Coalition’s book right now and had a look at it … there is precedent for bipartisanship on nuclear power.”
