Sydney hosts the World Marathon Series for the first time
A thousand police officers will begin moving into the CBD overnight with three separate protests planned for Sunday, headlined by an anti-immigration rally.
40,000 runners are also in the mix as Sydney goes on show to the world, as a first-time host in the World Marathon Series.
