South Africa has deported more than 50,000 migrants as angry locals have taken to the streets to, in some cases, forcibly remove migrants from the country.
Neighbouring countries have condemned South Africa’s inability to keep their nationals safe, as thousands camp outside consulates waiting to flee the country.
